Wood Species and Size Range

Board Star is available in two wood species:

Hinoki (Japanese Cypress)
A prized wood in Japan, known for its strong, distinctive fragrance with soothing properties. Renowned for its durability and ease of processing, Hinoki is widely used as a high-quality building material.



Sugi (Japanese Cedar)
One of Japan’s most iconic tree species, Sugi is characterized by its unique "Genpei" pattern, where the reddish heartwood and pale sapwood blend harmoniously.
